Turn it up, it’s time for Amplified 22!
Amplified is our yearly celebration of the studio anniversary, our games, and of course you, our community: Three days filled with community challenges, rewards, news, plenty of streams, and more. Whether you are a fan of the Endless Universe, or of Humankind, you are all invited to join the festivities!
So, what do we have in store this year?

Firstly, we are holding a community challenge: For the duration of Amplified (starting on Wednesday at 4pm CET), every game of Humankind, Endless Space 2, or Endless Legend you start will contribute progress towards unlocking in-game rewards for Humankind like new player emblems or a new persona. Tune in on Wednesday to learn more!
Secondly, every day of Amplified there will be new content and new Rewards on Games2Gether.
Company of Heroes 2 Giveaway: Thanks to our friends at Relic, we can give away copies of Company of Heroes 2 on Steam, the premier WW2 real-time strategy game. Only while supplies last, so don’t sleep on this! Community Challenge: With the start of the Community Challenge, you will be able to take a look at the next reward to be unlocked by the challenge on Games2Gether. Amplified 22 Wallpaper: The beautiful keyart for Amplified 22, available in various wallpaper formats (including an animated one for your phone!) | Cultures of Africa DLC Release: The first DLC for Humankind, Cultures of Africa, releases this day, adding 6 new cultures, 4 Natural Wonders, a Cultural Wonder, and over a dozen new events. HUMANKIND™ Patch: Alongside the DLC, a patch will release including AI improvements to sieges and war planning, as well as various bugfixes. The modding tools will also receive an update with various bugfixes and to ensure compatibility. HUMANKIND™ What’s Next: We will also be sharing some on our plans on how to improve Humankind in the (somewhat) near future. Meme Generator: In collaboration with Chapel Comic, we present the return of the (What If) Humankind Meme Generator, with brand new assets! Cultures of Africa Wallpaper Pack: The art of all six cultures of the DLC, available in various formats to decorate your desktop or mobile screens. | Guest: Lera Lynn: We've had a chat with Lera Lynn, who performed the wonderful song in the trailer for Endless Dungeon. Catch it on our Twitch stream at 5pm! Free Again Full Version: You will also be able to listen to the full track from the trailer on Games2Gether. Endless Dungeon Hero Reveal: You may have already seen here in trailers and votes, but it is time to get to know one of our heroes a little better. Endless Dungeon Vote: Alongside the Hero Reveal, we will open a new vote about an alternate skin for one of our heroes! Endless Mod for HUMANKIND™: The official Endless/Humankind crossover mod you shaped with your votes will be available through mod.io. More Endless Rewards: For our fans of the ENDLESS™ universe, we have several new rewards, including a new comic and the official Auriga map. |
Finally, we also have an extensive streaming program offered by ourselves and some guest streamers. From gameplay streams to talks with the devs, we have a varied program every day from Wednesday the 19th to Friday the 21st, from 10am to 6pm CET.
When we’re not online ourselves, we’ll be hosting guest streams instead to keep the celebration going, so keep an eye on our twitch channel! We do have four guest streaming events we want to give a special shoutout to, though:

In Humankind, your culture changes through the eras as you adapt to changing game situations. But what if the ruler, the player themself changed as well? Three streamers, but only one match, as the save passes from one to the other. Can our rulers unite their different visions for Humankind and lead our people to greatness? Tune in on their channels to find out!
Push Humankind Too Far with Marbozir (Thursday, after 6pm CET)
We’ve all tried to push humankind to fame and fortune. But what if we tried to push humankind to the brink instead? How quickly could we ruin the world if we truly put our mind to it? Join Marbozir this Thursday to find out!
(GER) Trio Mit Drei Mäusen with Steinwallen, Writing Bull, and GuentherShadow (Thursday to Saturday)
We know we have a lot of German-speaking fans, so we invited three German strategy streamers to join us. They, too, will be sharing a single match, handing their save off to the next in line at the end of each day in a succession of rulers. Additionally, our guest Writing Bull, in collaboration with ASUS, will even be giving away a gaming mouse! So, if you’re looking for three days of Humankind, tune in to Steinwallen (Thursday), Writing Bull (Friday, 7pm CET), and Guenthershadow (Saturday, 9pm CET).
(GER) Humankind with Historians with the AK_GWDS (Saturday, 7-11pm CET)
Humankind is Amplitude’s first historical game, and we feel that immersion, a sense of authenticity, and the right atmosphere are a core part of the experience, so we invited some German-speaking historians from the AKGWDS to participate in Amplified. In their own words, they are the central German-speaking hub for researchers, teachers, and anybody interested in the intersection of history, history education, game studies, and political and cultural studies. Their goal is to give more significance to the study of digital games from a historical perspective, both in science and society, by serving as an open forum for discussion of this subject.
So please, join two of their members as they play a game of Humankind and discuss their experiences with it from this perspective on Twitch this Saturday.
