This is my first public fanfic, so lets see how this goes.

It has been 5 months after the vaulters left on the argosy, and the cultist left on the grey owl until it blew up. Researcher Namkang watched as the world she knew fell apart, as the winter grew harsher and longer, many of the other factions died out, many like the ardent mages, roving clans, necrophage, forgotten and broken lords, all died out, others like the morgawr and allayi isolated themselves either underwater or inside their more resilient homes. Namkangs people, the drakken were forced underground, yet many did not make it, only a shadow of their former selves, the drakken along with the nidya and geldirus prepared for a life under the surface, in huge caves and underground buildings. They began expanding the underground caverns, to make room for the larger ancients and wyverns, until they stumbled upon a underground building, not of natural origin nor made by them, it was like a dungeon, as they explored it, they found connected rooms, and more, until it became a labyrinth of corridors and rooms.

Namkang studied these ancient structures, until she came across 2 rooms, one held purple colored armor, with feathered protrusions from it, when the nidya found out, they began to worship it, claiming it was armor worn by Hikensha, one of their founders. The other room held nothing but a staff, when Namkang got a closer looked, she immediately recognized it as the weapon used by her ancestor whose story was told by her family for generations, the staff of Kreyang, she kept the weapon, determined to preserve her families history.

As the drakken delved deeper into the structure, they came upon a huge room, inside it was a vessel, broken into several pieces and protected by the fomorians, ancient guardians of endless structures. Once the fomorians were dealt with, the drakken studied the large vessel, its name written on its hull, the Success, once Namkang got inside the broken pieces of the vessel, she found what appeared to be the recorded history of the ship, a vessel once used to transport criminals and other unwanted people, the ship crashed long ago, struct down by a now gone weapon. The ships history was not all that was found, the schematics to repair the ship were also discovered. Namkang, realizing this may be the last hope for the drakken to survive, brought the idea of repairing the ship to her peoples leader Kehangana, who quickly agreed with her, and the drakken began repairing the ancient ship.

A entire year and a half passed as the drakken rebuilt and learned how the Success worked, until finally the last piece of the ship was place together, now fully rebuilt and in its prime, all that was needed was to load the civilians, cargo and minor races onto the ship, what remained of the drakken, nidya and geldirus flocked to the ship, filling its cargo holds and empty space, the nidya brought many artifacts with them, including The ancient armor of Hikensha. Namkang a month ago found a star map left by the endless, revealing the planets and systems around Auriga, and one planet looked promising to a new life to begin on. As the last of the civilians boarded the ship, Kehangana ordered the great doors above to open, revealing the now winter barren surface of Auriga. The Success activated its engines, and blasted itself into the sky, quickly leaving the planets atmosphere as Namkang gave the navigator the coordinates of the planet she found. The ship then jumped, as the blackness of space gave away to a bright blue tunnel of light. The ship left Auriga, The drakkens last hope of survival, now on course to the new world, The world of Sykagoja.
