How to help us to fix a bug?


If you encounter an issue that is not in the list below, please send us a Dropbox link (or equivalent) or zip and attach your files to your post (how to) with:

  • Issue - Describe your issue: it's simple and it helps us understanding what you want us to fix 
  • Specs
  • - Share your specs with us! Your OS, OS Architecture (32bit, 64-bit), CPU, screen resolution, etc.
  • Version
  • - What is the game version? You can find this out in the game menu, at the bottom left of the screen.  Please mention it in your thread title.
  • Game save
  • - You can find it here: [Documentsdir]/Endless Legend/Save Files/*.zip. Relevant if you encounter a specific gameplay issue that we will be able to reproduce.
  • Player.log (via the OSX Console)
  • - ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log Mandatory
  • Diagnostics.*.html
  • - ~Library/Application Support/EndlessLegend/Temporary Files/ Mandatory
  • Screenshots
  • - By default on Steam, you need to press F12 to take a screenshot. Once you exit the game, you will find the screenshot manager window, press on "Show on disk" and grab the pictures you find relevant
  • Multiplayer
  • - Please zip your Dump files located in this folder: My Documents/Endless Legend/Dump Files/DesyncReport.xxx.aaaaaaaa-bbbb-cccc-dddd-eeeeeeeeeeee and attach them to your bug report if you are experiencing desync issues Mandatory if you are reporting a MP issue



 We will also ask you to link your Steam account, this way we can ensure you are playing on an updated client and not an outdated and buggy pirate version...


  • Go to your profile in the top right of the window
  • Enter your info in the Steam Connect area
  • Verify the connection
  • You're good to go
