mods to download from steam workshop

Hi! Could it be possible to make it allowed to download mods manually from steam workshop for those who prefer that way??

For now it is says, - "The game that this item belongs too does not allow downloading of its items"

After thinking about it, the only reason I could think of that the Steam Workshop wouldn't work is if it was someone who was trying to mod a pirated version of the game.

I don't know, but the Steam Workshop is really, really convenient.

some people want to avoid subscription of steam workshop because:

-They do not know how the Workshop works.

-They do not want the mod linked to their Steam account.

-They do not want automatic updates for the mod. -

-They want to manage the mod themselves

Hey there!

We have not planned to change the way mods work with our games. We believe the way the Steam Workshop works is intuitive and hassle-free. Given that so far our games are 100% reliant on Steam, we just see this as extra workload with very little in the way of benefits.
