Multi-Game seeds

As I have proposed in previous mechanics, will a quest be able to set up flags for multi-game seeds?

SEED: Frozen Hero(es)

QUEST: A Hero from Time Forgotten

An ancient installation with traces of Endless technology points to other, greater places, but it may come at a risk. Who know what - or who - will you find?

Chapter 1

You find a strange installation in a moon of the colonized planet. Upon investigation, it is revealed that it belongs from an ancient civilization. Further investigation reveals that it has traces of endless technology, but is not Endless in its origin.

Scientists conjecture that it could be a dissident group which lost most of its means to produce endless technology, or that it was scavenged from Endless. You can't help yourself but investigate further. As the news leaks out, the system becomes a honeypot for acheology-type wannabees and scavengers.

- science on system for, + propaganda for science tech heads population for X turns.

Chapter 2

Despite the diverted resources, you got good insight on what you have in your hands. There are several items which were encoded with a lot of information, but you must decide whether to keep investigating the artifacts, which will inevitably result in their dismantling, but may lead to further discoveries, or to cave in to private investors which are making political pressure and want to use the artifacts for private research - and profit.

Outcome 1: Player chooses to sell the artifacts to private corporations. Large one-time dust income. End of Quest.

Outcome 2: Player keeps researching the Artifact, which uncovers that in another planetary system there is a larger facility.

IF There is no Frozen Hero from a previosu gameplay: The focus of the quest is invariably an ice, volcano or barren planet.

If There IS a frozen hero from a previous gameplay: The focus of the questis invariably an ocean, jungle or terran.

Chapter 3

Upon colonizing/acquiring the marked system, the tracking technology uncovered previously tells you exactly where to search. There is a large facility hidden here, which seems to be able to draw energy from a pressure differential from a wormhole. It seems that it should be able to yield different results depending on the management focus.

If there is a hero from a previous gameplay: The remote installation at the other side of the wormhole gives the system some bonus.

Option 1: The hero can be rescued from there, but then the facility would be unmanned and the planet would be come either barren, ice or volcanic.

Option 2: The hero can also be replaced, or a hero can be sent to manage the remote facility, but depending on the hero specialization, the planet would be terraformed to a different type, either terran, oceanic or jungle. The hero would be stored and can be rescued only in another gameplay, with the same stats (and equipment? do we have hero equipment?).

This is a proof-of-concept quest for persistent elements which are stored and can be changed in one game, altering the initial landscape for a subsequent gameplay. We have a unique endless facility which can house one hero. If manned, it changes the biosphere of a planet. It can be switched to a different state once per gameplay via this quest.

The key to it is that it builds upon my previous suggestion of having those persistent states in the game as a storytelling tool which would make multiple gameplays more enjoyable, as not everything can be seen in a single game. But do we even have it available?
