I am Tarlgor. I am one of a few remaining elders. I am a keeper. I watch the saplings from sprouts til they are ready for uprooting. Under my watch this seasons saplings have come to no harm, but the elders are gone.

Lights had been seen above the canopy of our forests. moving. seeking. Beyond the reach of our tallest Unfallen. The great elders, cloaked in moss, bodies littered with stone ruins, ingrained into discussion, their bodies molded into a great dome. What was to be done? Who commanded these lights? Were they a threat or a minor nuisance? 

They took the stance often taken by the Unfallen. Patience, Still observation. Perhaps on this occasion this was a mistake. They and the lights have vanished, the day prior to the seasons great sowing.

I am no great elder, but none now remain. I was to lead the great sowing. The great elders saplings would have been under my watch and now i fear they are being sown on unknown worlds. They would not be the first to seek our bark or our leaf the beings of our planet once saw us as nothing more than a resource, back when we were still. Our bark consumed their warriors who wore us as Armour, we took their shape and we were rewarded with mobility and peace, and now we must use this mobility to a new extent. 

The elders once spoke of a knowledge their roots touched. wound round. crushed and dismantled. learning while breaking. A form unused. 

The remaining elders are willing their lives are to be melded the craft built, the stars searched. The saplings found. Our presence among the stars will be noticed. Those who robbed us of our unsown and great elders will be aware, even if we have to sow a forest on every planet to get their attention. we are not a resource. We are not be exploited. 

Interesting piece. I like the concept of the Unfallen taking their ability to move from others rather. Makes them feel like true trees which have grown beyond their original limitations.

Promising premise, although I would point out that you still need a bit of clean-up for stray typos and proper capitalization.
