Sha Rohen wandered fully into the melded reality. Around her, the walls vanished into a spectacle of desolation. Smoke was lazily rising above the charred remains of the outpost. Houses were uprooted, caught during a futile effort at fleeing the now departed threat. Sha shielded her emotions away and let her spirit leave the reconstitution. She felt a sudden spike of anger ; not hers, but Seetani's.

“You ought to feel it too, Seeker. Perhaps you should travel there and see for yourself, then you would understand.”

The ship thoughts were dry and coarse, as if trying to coerce the Seeker into feeling remorse. This was Seetani's way.

“You couldn't go there either” she replied. 

“I understand one wanting to defend their soil. But this is different, there was no understanding, no negotiation. This was greed and... evil”

“You want me to find the culprits ? This is why you've welcome me inside you, Seetani ?”

The ship intensified the link. Sha felt the consciousness near her grow and grow again, until she was  but a speck against the immensity of the Spacekin. 

“This is me, Seeker...”

The Unfallen could follow Sheetani anger, feeling it directed at the powerful node around them, feeding the weapons. They hungered for vengeance, brimming with energy and pain, unable to pinch a target. It was frightening.

“This is not who I am.” she told the ship, pouring appeasing thoughts into their symbiotic link, like a sprinkle of water on a raging inferno. “I will seek answers.”

“You don't like what I am feeling, Seeker. Do you think this is not our way ? Those wretched criminals didn't spare those who shared our vision. You who travels in a metal ship, away from the Tangling, you should understand how cruel the otherkins can be.

“You volunteered to be reborn as a stellar guardian, Sheetani. You broke the oath of peace for the Greater Good.”

“You've broken it too, Seeker. We are not alone. If you listen you will find my space sisters shimmering with thirst for revenge too.”

“I know how they function in alien places. You may feel they share this vile taint, but they don't have our symbiotic Essence. One's decision may not be approved by the others. I'm afraid you may overreact.”

Sheetani brought Sha again into her ship conscience, toward the powerful thruster that were awekening. 

“We have to move Seeker. You are here to protect the Tangling as much as we are sworn to. Find them. And then...”

“I will do. But what happen next is up to us, not just you. We can find powerful allies. You don't have to exert revenge.”

“This is why we have been reborn, Seeker. To be the safekeepers.”

“A weapon is just as powerful when kept in its sheave. 

“You are a strange Seeker, imbued with Dust, far from the Tangling. But you are an Unfallen indeed.”

A good read and I wouldn't worry about not being natively English, it comes down to some spelling mistakes mostly.

I've been busy the past few days so since I'm free right now, I'm going to read through each submission and starting throwing votes out.
