I stand in Dereth-konar, the shattered circle, on a planet bereft of life. The ancient ruins that surround me proclaim that this was not always so. Arcane symbols, once etched all around are now almost lost, weathered by untold aeons. In the dusky illumination of the dying star they are almost invisible. Yet I know this is the place.

How much we have lost...In my mind I hear the whisper. The whisper that has lead me from one end of the galaxy to another, showing me the hidden signs. From frozen complexes on forgotten moons, to sunken temples in Stygian depths. I have travelled in the shadows of stars and through space, endless and black, following the whisper, the accursed nothingness I am now sworn to.

It is time...Yes, it is time. The final alignment is almost here. I begin the ritual as the shadow of the tri-fold eclipse starts to creep across the land. In the starless darkness I find wonders spring up in my mind, the past becomes the present - I see the city as it once was, both glorious and terrible. The shattered circle is remade, a great lectern stands at its centre and I hear other voices echoing my chant.

Now we come...There is a moment. A moment that extends for all eternity. A moment when I utter the last syllable. A moment when the three have aligned. A moment when the star dies, blinding the rest of the galaxy with it's supernovae radiance. A moment when the darkness on Dereth-konar is absolute. 

It is in this moment they return, hidden by the light, unseen in the darkness...and the galaxy will be changed forever.

I hope you like my proposed name! I think it has a lot of mystique to it – holding some of the mystery and magic that is found in the Endless Universe.

I can see some ancient magic at work, or maybe science so alien it is incomprehensible. Tides of shadow and darkness, beings that are hidden from view, keepers of ancient and terrible knowledge. Harbouring shrouded secrets and unfathomable knowledge .

I've edited this introduction now I've had a bit more time. I hope you like my spinet of lore. Obviously the developers will make something awesome out of whatever is chosen, and will have fantastic ideas of there own. But I loved the idea of an ancient race being rebirthed, or released, by a ritual, during an eclipse at the moment there star died.
