Thank you for the report. I've confirmed that this affects both the default and the Emerald hulls, but that it is only visual. I've passed the information along to the team.

Same thing with Dux class. It has rquipable slot, that has no se before upgrade.

Is it intended, that Imperator-class (carrier) has weapon slot, that isn't also a squadron slot?

As this is the ony hull, that has one less squadron slot then weapon slots, it seems more like an oversight, then intention.
