It does not seem to be reproducible on demand, and does not happen on reload, but here is what it looks like

The colonizer button is blacked out and non-interactve. However, if I refresh the system orbit somehow, by for example bringing a second colonizer, suddenly everything works.

If ever you run into it again, please share the diagnostics. I have never seen this before and have no idea where to even begin looking for the cause.

I have the same problem sometimes, i will look for a save.

For me the problem was also solved with clicking another ship of mine, and then going back to the colonizer.

If this did not work immediately, i tried to do something else first.

Eventually the button would not be blacked out anymore.
