I haven't made any fan lore in a while so lets have another crack at it.

For Millenia the Hissho have ruled as a society of clans unified in a great empire, but many clans have risen and fallen, either through internal conflict or other means of failure, however 4 clans have come out as some of the strongest clans in recent history, and these clans will help guide the Hissho into a glorious future.

Clan Snowridge: Masters of space combat and industrial growth, Clan Snowridge are the most economically prosperous of the 4 great clans, responsible for the majority of the Empires economy and industrial prosperity and it shows in their buildings and structures, lavish and grand in scale and detail, those that have been to these buildings have left in awe of the economic power of clan Snowridge. But industry is not the only aspect the clan is mastered in. Clan Snowridge has trained and created many of the best admirals in the Hissho navy, and have lead many of the successful Hissho campaigns. You can find many members of clan Snowridge as admirals and in leading roles of economical and industrial ranks.

Clan Brightblade: where Snowridge leads the navy, Clan Brightblade leads the army, commanding the forces of a planetary invasion, they are also in charge of maintaining the stability of the empire, rooting out dissent and quelling rebellions wherever they appear. Brightblade are also leaders of the order of the Black eagle, training the best warriors and duelist seen in the nation. Their buidings represent this style, organized and efficient, every aspect meant for a specific purpose. You can find members of clan Brightblade as generals and security enforcers as well as Trainers in the arts of dueling.

Clan Saltcliff: The Scientist and Lore keepers of the empire, Clan Saltcliff is responsible for the greatest of technological advancements in Hissho history with the smartest members of the empire coming from clan Saltcliff. They also are Historical teachers, Making sure that history is never forgotten in the Empire in order for future Hissho to be able to learn from both the empires darkest and brightest times. Some rumors even say that some members want to bring back the most popular aspects of Hissho history into the present day. Their buildings and structures are very open with a more futuristic and technologically advanced design incorporated. You can find many members of Clan Saltcliff as leading scientist in research labs as well as teachers in Hissho schools and keepers of museums and libraries.

Clan Graysand: the most religious of the 4, Clan Graysand defends the Hissho religion and holy sites with a fanatical passion. They are also masters of defense, if all else fails then clan Graysand will be the empires last and strongest line of defense. Their structures are built with defense in mind, Always maximized for security and safety, and inside, their buildings are coated in religious decorations and text. You can find many members of clan Graysand protecting Hissho holy sites and as preachers of the Hissho religion, as well as garrison leaders in the strongholds and fortresses of the Hissho Empire.

I forgot a minor clan, so i will add it here.

Clan Keencrest: while not the smallest clan, it is also not one of the largest, Riding the line between weak and strong. Clan Keencrest is not a clan of the Hissho species, but of their subspecies the yussho,  and from this, Clan Keencrest use's yussho made ships that vary highly compared to the ships of their hissho brethren. Keencrest ships are enlarged, wide ships with more prominent frontal beaks compared to the hissho's more flat and aerodynamic ships, (essentially ES1 Hissho ships), Clan Keencrest uses these ships as border patrol and tribute collecting, 2 things that Keencrest has taken the mantle of. They make sure no other faction infiltrates the Hissho Empire, as well as making sure all tributary and subject nations pay their due. Keencrest buildings are more generic in look like smaller clans, but still have a unique style, more compact with more wooden materials in their construction. You can find Keencrest members leading small patrol groups and collecting taxes and tributes.
