Hello, recently i bough the dlc for endless space 2 on steam but turns out i can not play the game, the game begins loading and then a "Program is not responding" message appears on the screen, i can not get to the main menu even.
i have unistalled and re installed the game, unchecked the "read only" from the folder, verified the integrity of game files, turning of my anti virus but nothing seems to work, please help me i dont know what else to do.

If you disable the DLC, does it launch correctly?
thank you for your reply, i just disabled all the dlc and launched the game as an admin, it crashed just the same... also i have A LOT of folders that have like an error report, i think the game creates one each time it crashes because each folder its named after the date in which the game crashed.

Can you post a copy of the crash report? There is an 'upload file' button when you post.
here are the 3 files that are inside of the most recent crash folder.
There is a problem with D3D11, it isn't loading right. D3D11 is a library for graphics stuff. Do you have a modern graphics card? If so try updating the drivers.
Hello, i just did but the game crashes just the same, i have an AMD A12-9700P Radeon R7. Also, i have over 100 played hours, i have been playing the game for a while, this bug is new. still, i can not play the game, this is frustrating. the crash report gives the same "D3D11" error. is there other way to fix it?

Try this: Right click on Endless Space 2 in your Steam library, go to Properties and put this command in the startup settings:
-force-d3d9
i did and it gave the error you see on the screenshot
Ok try setting the launch option to:
-force-opengl
If that doesn't work another possibility is your graphics card died. Try running this to test it:

You may also have a corrupted corrupted graphics card drivers. Try uninstalling and reinstalling those:

Have you done anything to your computer since the last time you were able to run the game?
I tried the first option and the game now runs!!!! oh my god im so happy HAHAHAHAH thank you so much for real, now i can play the game, started a game and it runs well, activated all the dlc and it ran ok too!!!!!
