Error loading new game

Hello,

I have a big problem preventing me from playing :

When launching a new game, the loading will stop immediately and show this error (without number) :


This happens in solo and multiplayer, but not with the tutorial for the new players (but it's useless for me as I know the game).

I noticed I can load old save games.


What I have already done :

-restarting the PC

-verify the integrety of the game files (game launching using Steam)

-redownloading and reinstalling the game

-update graphic drivers

-remove mods

But nothing makes the situation any better.

I have some diagnostics temporary files I found, but I can't attach them here (another error, "something went wrong"), if you need more I'll be happy. By reading them, it seems there are a lot of things missing, but it's strange since  I reinstalled the entire game.

I'm having the same problem and have not found a fix for it yet. ;(


Update:

FIXED IT!!!

Went into the game folder for Endless Space 2 and removed everything, this means you lose all your saves if you don't relocate them somewhere else. 

Just make sure to put them back where you copied them from.

( I did not do this)

So there might be a problem with curupted files.

You're my savior !  I did as you say : I uninstalled the game, removed the files in both fodlers (in My documents folder and in the Steam folder).

I will be able to play it again !

Hello again,

Again, I appreciate your help !   I can launch a game, but I a massive memory leak now, and some textures missing...    Do you have the same problems ?

I am playing a game but it keeps crashing every 30 minutes until my RAM is full, and it even makes my PC crashing now, so I have to reset it every time.


I verified the integrity of the files, the PC has been restarted a lot of times now,  I'm again at a loss...    :/
