Just thought that dedicated videos when you colonize a unique planet would add more immersion to the game. each details counts !

Edit : After a few comments on this idea,  I think unique planets need indeed to take back the role they had in the first game. Restore ancients Endless wonders to exploit the full potentiel of each planet could be great ! It could be through quests ?

We've added multiple events for Auriga and Sykagoja for the factions connected to them, as well as the Celestial Worlds questline focused on unique planets.

I would like unique planets to be given more attention for a greater incentive to colonize them. I comend the background and story card each unique planet is given, and I would like them in my empires eventually due to their enticing history. Additions such a trailer or more unique nodes/quests would be a nice addition and I would certainly inva-*ahem* settle them all...

ES1 had interesting and observable planet modifications, including gigantic Endless installations

Implementing these into unique planets would add to flare and exploitation

Bigeli has such a research space station at least, and Harrow is X_X (Academy)

ALso it would give one more reason for hard choices.

Do I upgrade my Endless-Researchstation or do I build that carrier for an nearly same amount of Strategic resources and Dust

The unique planets do seem less important in this game than they do in the first Endless Space. There's the FIDSI bonuses, unique texture, and flavor text, which is great, but other than that you don't really do anything with them. I keep happening upon Veil, for instance, and thinking it's a shame I can't investigate its mysteries further, as the flavor text suggests. It's just a mystery that's left completely untouched for some reason.

It'd be cool if we saw a return of ES1's Wonders, for planets like that.

I agree, while given different stats and looking differently, they don't really do much for immersion, at least for me personally, that is.

Is there any chance, that in some future update, we could have something like "unlocking the true abilities" of those wonders in planet form? I mean, there could be quest chains, linked to unique planets, or even certain build options enabled once you reach the right tech level, which take as much time or even longer, than a wonder and further improve those planets?

(I can see some balance issues with that, but depending on how it is done it could work out, I think)

And YES YES YES to dedicated unique videos!

Yes i would like there to be a mini-quest type thing on unique planets. Perhaps unique exploitations? Wonders to restore? Some kind of special terraforming option? Maybe even a bit of a time based thing where you might blow the planet up or make it a lava world if you fail to do something in time... There is so much possibility.

Unique planets should definitely feature their own branching quests. In my opinion, quest chains that require a decent investment/effort in order to fully realize the unique planet's potential and powers. They ARE former Endless facilities/remnants, they should be worth fighting over; as they are The Endless' legacy (in addition to those endlessly (see what I did there?) irritating locusts, the Cravers).

A fantastic idea. Branching quests are my favorite. I am not a fan of the single event quests. Branching quests that take dedication and resources would be great.

The devs need to explain about Branching quest on unique planets in their decision for this idea, otherwise i will feel like they will miss such a great idea you just said. :)

if they don't, don't forget to mail them!!! :D

I'd LOVE to see quests related to populating unique planets with certain races. Like populating Sykagoja with the Hissho, returning to the planet where they were first modified by the endless...

More unique flavor is definitely welcome, be it in the form of colonization videos, unique resources/deposits/anomalies or even quests.

Allowing Behemoths with an Extreme Terraforming module to restore destroyed planets such as Harrow, or just be able to terraform unique planets in general, would be cool as well.

Just got the quest as the Hissho that had to do with Sykagoja and their past as gladiators. I think it was their racial quest, or one of them, but would LOVE to see more of these kinds of quests. would love to see more quests in general that have to do with the unique planets, make them worth fighting over and investing in.

I would like the unique planets to have a desirability attribute, i.e. the AI would desire some specific ones and possessing one of those would put a strain on relations, even alliances. Thus each faction gets a planet(s) it desires and assigns more weight to obtain these planets as well as valuing them more during diplomatic exchanges.  Completion bonuses would also be great, i.e contain both the science unique planets, and gain +10% to science output or something like that, akin to constellations.
