Endless Day Stream & Celebration!

Hi everyone!

Some of you have been able to follow-up on the hints we've seeded here and there: yes, we will be showcasing Update 2 on the Endless Day! After the traditional wishes from Mathieu & Romain, we will be revealing what's coming to Endless Space 2 for Update 2! Tune in at 5PM CET on January 19th on our Twitch channel.

We have some cool stuff happening all week-end to celebrate our studio's 6th anniversary, starting on the evening of the 19th with a Beer2Gether held at the studio in Paris. Attendees will have the opportunity to chat with the team over drinks and snacks (our treat!), and our composer FlybyNo will be performing for us on the harp with a special guest creating the visuals! We're eager to see this in action. There are still a few spots left so make sure to save yours!

Of course, some extra cool stuff is expected for those of you who can't make it, so monitor our social channels during the days following the celebration!

We hope your 2017 is off to a great start!

Maybe, but the whole design is completely not-Horatio. Too many angles. Actually it looks good. I think I'll use it for my personal race, if it is actually a new race.

Agreed, the aesthetic looks very pretty. They look human-like, but, looking at the area behind the text that says "Update Two Preview"...is that a Wild Walker?

Very different from the ES1 aesthetics, but I kind of love the technological Deux Ex 1 feel

For some reason i would say Vaulters. Those 2 images the others said are indeed intriguing but somehow the blurry picture reminds me her face:

Also the buildings colors and design also reminds me of them

If they are vaulters, then they are going to be the best vaulters I've ever seen. That design, that architecture... it's truly wonderful.

Since in the picture there is clearly a Wild Walker... Could it be that this faction is a mixture of the Endless Legend factions? The face on the left could be Horatio, but it could also be a bit Cultist or Ardent Mages. I dunno what to make of the face on the right tho. Roving Clans?

Mmmmm "Escaped form Auriga" faction... Interesting idea.

but to be honest, I think this image is only a placeholder. Is good as all Amplitude art, but IMO doesn't correspond to any specific faction.

The image is still in fact called ES2-Horatio-preview-stream.jpg, so even if its a placeholder, it refers to the Horatio. As long as Amplitude isn't trolling around with their image names :P

Yes, I've seen this in the thread "Horatio revealed", also in the thread with xmls files date exposed, it appears Horatio with same features as major.

Nothing against having them, as I prefer rescuing Horatio than others, but still this art doesn't looks like Horatio art from Es1, not at least to me.

Also as said in "Horatio revealed" thread, I expected one of the new factions in this update, but anyway Horatio is a cool one, at least when lore speaking.
