The G2G vote to choose the name for the Espionage expansion is still ongoing (make sure to vote if you haven't!). Today is the day, however, that you get to register for the closed beta for our upcoming Endless Space 2 expansion! I love the idea of espionage, but more than anything I am most excited about the new faction. I am also very interested to see how the more advanced AI of ES2 deals with espionage as compared to how they did in EL.

I'm really looking forward to teh reworked (or at least improved) secondary view of the galaxy. I quite like looking at all the numbers and graphs and having to use this view more is exciting.

Also really looking forward to having new tools to take over all other life forms in the galaxy and mess with space-time ;)

Both the hacking/espeionage system and what i already know about the new faction look pretty interesting. The concept of building a hacking-path through nodes/enemy systems is something i cant recall from any other game i know.

Yeah, the Vaulters are great. The Hissho mechanics are not my case. But I am sure the Umbral Choir will be as great to play as the Vaulters - even more...!?
