What if when you Defeat an enemy empire, on their homeworld they become a new *unique* minor faction? Like say you defeat the Sophon empire, then on their homeworld they become a new minor faction with stronger traits then other minor factions. That Way home Worlds have a larger importance than just a victory condition or a starting point and then they become new points of focalized defense and or focalization of having a possible *super planet* that will be sought out more than?

We do like the idea but this is not a direction we want to take for defeating a major faction.
