I can't vote for "There Can Only Be One" because if they allow multiples of the same hero AGAIN, I will lose my dang mind.

There CAN only be one and it better not have to come do winning a battle against the same-named hero.

I always sort of imagined that it was ~dusty time magicks~ or thereabouts that enabled two of a hero to exist at once... but I definitely agree with both of you.

It is a "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" reference where the Black Knight refuses to acknowledge that he has been defeated even after his opponent, King Arthur has chopped off both his arms and legs.

While I do like it flavour-wise, I am worried that if "I'll bite your legs off" wins, it'll be nigh-on impossible to achieve. Speaking as someone who's somewhat of a completionist, I'm not sure I'd want to be continually restarting games just to get a run where an AI doesn't declare war on me, because I wouldn't be able to defend myself.

The problem is once the AI does attack you, you can't ever defend yourself, you'd even have to sacrifice your capital if they attacked that. So you'll have to win through economy/science/etc, but still have so much military that you can't ever use, and even then it might not work, as the AI might declare war on you if you're close to victory.

I think the AI don't attack if you have a super high strenght fleet sitting in your systems: if you can do this while racing on one of the 5 victory conditions, you should get this acheivement.
