Today is an auspicious day for us, as it marks the beginning of our Endless Day celebrations, for Amplitude's 6th anniversary! There's quite a lot of ground to cover today, so let's get to it!

You've waited for them all year, and now they will be back on the 21st! The Events of the Endless Day are coming back to Endless Space, Endless Legend & Dungeon of the Endless. Army of Me: Horatio Reveal
As many of you may have puzzled out, the Horatio are the 6th faction to join Endless Space 2! We are very excited to bring him back, and we think you will love him and his multitude of selves, maybe even as much as Horatio loves himself?
Here's an excerpt of the lore behind Horatio:
"An exceedingly rich and exceedingly eccentric billionaire who was exceedingly tired of everything, Horatio left the Mezari empire on a solo voyage. Crossing the galaxy in suspended animation, Horatio was awakened by the ship when it arrived at a habitable planet--of which he immediately declared himself Emperor. Horatio used information culled from Endless ruins on the planet and its two moons to gain unnatural extension to his own life. In-system exploration led to other discoveries and eventually, through advanced medicines and biological adaptation, he evolved his own body into his vision of physical perfection..."

If you're interested in learning a little more about Horatio and the way to play them, as well as the rest of the contents of Update 2, don't miss our Endless Day stream! Starting at 5PM CET, we will be showcasing some of the cool new stuff Update 2 will be bringing. Mostly, we're doing this for Horatio, though, because who can resist these dreamy eyes (and the ships, don't forget the sexy, sexy Horatio ships). Make sure to tune in for that!
Giveaway Contest
Finally, we of course have our Beer2Gether tonight taking place at the studio! Sorry, we're fully booked out. If you aren't among those lucky enough to get a spot, we are launching a giveaway contest for a nice gift package! How to win? Simple! Create a beer label for an Endless Space 2-inspired beer, and post it in a comment to this thread! We will then proceed to an internal vote to determine the one we like the most, who will be declared winner.
The new rules are as follows:
- Only one entry per person
- Give a name for your beer and a slogan. You may add a short description of the visuals if you so wish.
- The winner will be picked among participants on Monday, Jan 30. Submissions are to be made before 12pm CET.
- (Bad) puns encouraged
